Launceston Food and Drink Festival @ Launceston Town Centre, Saturday 3rd June.
Launceston Food and Drink Festival will see the town square filled with quality pop up restaurants and a beer, cider and wine tent as part of The Charles Causley Festival. This one really isn’t one to miss – especially if you are a fan of local beers and ciders!
Port Eliot Dog Festival @ St Germans, Saturday 17th June
Port Eliot Dog Festival and Whippet Tea Party celebrates its success in the delightful grounds of Port Eliot. Last year over 700 people and hundreds of dogs went along. For humans there will be an array of stalls, cream teas and other refreshments, a treasure hunt and other activities for kids, and musical entertainment later on in the afternoon. Top time to go and try out some local cream teas!

Awesome Adventures @ National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Thursday 1st – Sunday 4th June.
Go on an awesome adventure this May half-term at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth. Inspired by the heroic voyages of exploration by ships such as Captain Bligh’s HMS Bounty, you can dress up in character and discover more fantastic adventures!

Game on! @ Eden Project, Thursday 1st – Sunday 4th June.
Eden’s celebration of game-playing returns this year, bigger and better than ever. From retro classics and traditional playground favourites to the latest tech, there’s something to get all members of the family competing, debating and having fun! This is definitely one to bring the family to!

South West Paddle Fest @ Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th June.
South West Paddle Fest is a great chance to get out while the weather is good! It’s about meeting up in the great outdoors, enjoying a paddle, people to the various disciplines and meeting new friends all whilst having fun and raising money for charity. What’s not to like?!

Eden Sessions 2017 @ The Eden Project, Thursday 15th – Saturday 23rd June
This June, Bastille, Madness and Royal Blood will be playing at one of the most unique venues in the country! With its magical Biomes backdrop, Eden truly is a unique venue – described by the Evening Standard as ‘The nearest you can get to watching a gig on the moon’. Music fans: don’t miss this.

Electric Beach Festival @ Newquay, Friday 16th – Saturday 17th June.
Electric Beach Festival will hit Great Western Beach, Newquay on Friday 16th – Saturday 17th June. The two-day event combining live music, bellyboard competitions, fire shows and yoga is set to be one of the hottest beach parties to hit the Cornish coastline this summer. Thrilled to be welcoming a string of exciting acts to this ever-popular surf town, Electric Beach Festival organisers have announced Badly Drawn Boy and Cuban Brothers as official headliners for 2017!

Polperro Music Festival @ Polperro, Saturday 10th – Sunday 18th June
This week long free festival includes plenty of traditional festivities, such as live music, an arts and crafts fair, a comedy night, the lighting of the solstice bonfire, the colourful village carnival and a unique mock mayor choosing ceremony with the winner being wheeled through the town, stopping at each inn before finally being dunked in the sea!

Theatre
Tristan & Yseult @ Minack Theatre, Monday 5th – Friday 9th June.
This critically acclaimed production catapulted the company onto the international stage over a decade ago; Cornish King Mark is at war: he rules with his head not his heart. But he hasn’t counted on falling head over heels for his enemy’s sister, or expected the arrival of the enigmatic Tristan. This play beautifully compliments the beautiful Minack theatre, and is a night to remember.

Singin’ in the Rain Jr @ Helston, 1st – 3rd June.
ACT1 Youth Theatre are putting on this timeless classic at The Epworth Hall for all to see! It’ll be fantastic to see the up-and-coming actors and actresses take the stage! Who knows? The next top star could be on this stage!

Seasonal
Charles Causley Festival @ Launceston, 1st – 5th June
Often referred to as the gateway to Cornwall, Launceston is the Duchy’s ancient capital. Nestling under the watchful gaze of a fine Norman castle, the town plays host to a festival celebrating the very best in poetry, prose and the performing arts.

Murdoch Day @ Redruth, 17th June.
Each year Redruth celebrates its most famous citizen, inventor William Murdoch (1754 – 1839) when the town is packed with events and entertainment throughout the day for the whole family. For one day only, events include a children’s dance and art procession, all day music and a variety of live concerts and other events dotted Around the town. Things kick off from 10am and all of the events are completely free!
