The Beachhouse, Kingsbridge
This sun-blushed seafood restaurant and bar sits on the glorious beach of South Milton Sands near Kingsbridge, and with its incredible menu and dreamy views, it’s no surprise that so many flock from around Devon to try it for themselves. Sit with the sand between your toes, watch the sun set behind the ocean, and see the kite surfers jump high into the sky whilst you enjoy a wide range of locally sourced drinks and stunning sea food.
The chalkboard menu found on the side of the beach house is always changing, based on whatever has been caught locally that day. And that’s the same for burger, it could be local beef today, and fresh cod tomorrow. One thing is guaranteed though, you’ll leave feeling full and satisfied!
Seabreeze Cafe, Torcross
This cosy Cafe sits right on the waterfront, on the southern tip of Slapton Sands at Torcross. Welcoming dogs all year round, the Seabreeze Cafe is the perfect spot to stop as you explore the stunning Devonshire coastline and is positioned far enough up the beach to be away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds heading to grab a spot on the sand.
The locally renowned ‘Seabeeze Burger’ consists of a 6oz ‘Durrant’ local beef patty, served in a brioche bun with cheddar cheese, caramelised onions, fries and a fresh salad – All for just £10!

Their burgers have no additives, no preservatives, no gluten and no dairy, just a little touch of Shack seasoning to provide that great taste!
Just a two minute walk from Torquay Harbour, the Shack offer over a dozen different burgers, made from beef, chicken and offering vegetarian options too. Sit on one of the pallet box seats, look out over the panoramic views of the Devonshire coastline, and enjoy one of the best burgers in the county!
Yes, the pizzas they serve are nice… but we recommend going straight for their burger menu! Made up of 8 burgers using locally sourced beef. Choose from classic beef burgers, to doubled up Angus burgers, pork patties, southern fried chicken burgers and more. By the way, please don’t underestimate how huge the doubled-up burgers are!
