It’s not uncommon to stumble across a market whilst exploring Cornwall; the county has so much local seafood, produce, arts and crafts on offer, all of which are excellent ways to remember your time in the South West. But each year, these already vibrant markets switch their festive lights on and gear up to help everyone get in to the Christmas spirit, with seasonal goods coming in from all over the county. From harbourside markets, to winter wonderlands in the biomes of the Eden Project, here are five of our favourite Christmas Markets in Cornwall!
Fowey Christmas Market Weekend: November 26th – 28th
Cornish Christmas markets really do stand out, as they look so pretty against the backdrop of local harbours and rolling waves! So is the case for Fowey Christmas Market – one of Cornwall’s most magical festive events, full of Christmas stalls and chalets, seasonal music, locally produced food and drink, and festive gifts! It really is a perfect and romantic way to spend an evening in Cornwall, we couldn’t recommend it enough!
