American rock band, Wheatus have played The Watering Hole in the past and they’re returning for another unforgettable night. Best known for their 2000 single “Teenage Dirtbag” These guys are going to blow the roof off.

Twisted Tales, The Poly, Falmouth, 3rd November
Twisted Tales is a hilariously dark triple bill of riotous comedies that reveal the darkness under the domestic, the lengths people will go to for love & how to wash blood stains out of a carpet. Inspired by cult classics including The Twighlight Zone and BBC’s ‘Inside Number Nine’ expect a comic thriller of a night with not one, not two, but three short plays guaranteed to leave you on the edge of your seat. This is the hugely popular ‘Owdyado Theatre’s fifth touring show and gathers together three distinct and distinguished writing voices.
Ginsters Fireworks Spectacular, Saturday 3rd November, 5.30pm
On Saturday 3rd November, Cornwall’s largest free fireworks display returns to Callington, presented by Ginsters of Cornwall. Famed for bringing its Cornish Pasties to the nation, Ginsters is quickly becoming the hallmark of Bonfire Night in the Duchy, as the nation prepares to don their woolly hats for an evening of family fun. This year’s display will take place at Callington Community College and includes a packed programme of pre-show entertainment: live music, hot food, sweet treats and fairground rides. Doors open at 5:30pm and the first illumination will fire into the sky at 8pm.
Wenna’s Wonderful World, Acorn, Penzance, 18th November
Come and play with Wenna and her friends as they set off on a magical journey. Let’s start with some art and then sing and dance together in Wenna‘s World. And we’ll finish with a Wenna cupcake party! We think it might be raining so please bring your wellies! Places are limited so please book early. This event starts at 14.00 and finishes at 16.00
Cornwall Macmillan Christmas Fair, Eden Project, 7th- 8th November
Cornwall’s biggest and brightest Christmas Fair is back this November, raising vital funds for Cornwall’s cancer patients. Taking place at the Eden Project on Thursday 8th November, with the Preview & Shopping Evening on Wednesday 7th November. The festive fair will take place between the two big biomes and there will be a range of Christmas gifts to suit every budget, as well as treats from local food producers.
Fowey Christmas Market, Fowey, 30th Dec – 2nd Dec
Fowey Christmas Market is one of Cornwall’s most well-known Christmas events with a rich history of providing 10,000 visitors with quality locally produced food and drink and festive gifts. They carefully hand pick all traders, so you can look forward to finding an extensive collection of handmade, locally produced gifts, arts and craft as well as some of the regions finest locally produced food and beverages.
Nancarrow Farm Feast Night, Saturday 3rd November
Just a couple days before Bonfire Night, a roaring fire, live music and a friendly get-together await you at the November Feast (no fireworks though as they don’t want to frighten the animals!). Enjoy a warming welcome drink with canapes in the courtyard before moving into the cosy oak barn to feast on a tasty 3 course supper. They’ll be cooking Nancarrow Lamb Legs over the fire with a rosehip dressing, and chestnuts, elderberries and apples are on the menu for dessert…
