The splendid entrance takes you into a striking lobby with hanging chandeliers and a grand, curving staircase. They’ve gone for a classic 1940’s lounge look downstairs with floral wallpaper and a few portraits. Upstairs things take a more interesting turn with high ceilings and low-hanging lights. Their wine list is small but beautifully formed, with whites, reds, rosés and prosecco all by the glass and bottle. They stock a good range of draught and bottled beer and cider and their cocktails include all the established classics and some particularly fiendish concoctions unique to Loungers.

The Noughts and Crosses, Polperro
The Noughts & Crosses Inn is situated in the heart of Polperro on Lansallos Street, approximately 80 paces from the picturesque harbour front. The bar is well stocked with draught lagers, ales and ciders, a good selection of house and quality wines and spirits as well as speciality gins. They have a drink for you, whatever your tipple is.
