Fishboy PZ is a Cornish clothing company that has been designing and screen-printing clothing since 2001, taking inspiration from the Cornish landscape and traditions of farming, mining and fishing. In February 2015 Cornwall-based artist, Mat McIvor, and local entrepreneur, Izzy Phillips, took the reins with the dream of putting Penzance on the map and strengthening the independent Fishboy brand. Nomads, Launceston
If you are planning a visit to Cornwall or live nearby, then do try to pop into Nomads boutique in Launceston. Their shop has lots of natural light, fresh air and friendly smiles – not to mention a vast selection of bohemian and contemporary clothing. Ownevers Duncan and Vicky met while backpacking around India in the late 1980s. With only £200 left in their pockets, they used the money to fill up a trunk of wonderful ethnic clothes and head back to the UK. They soon returned to India with the profits they had made, mixing business with pleasure; staying at Buddhist retreats, discovering crafts at local markets and picking up gorgeous handmade fabrics along the way.
