If you can’t quite accept that festival season is nearly over, which in turn marks the end of summer, then check out the Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival! Event organisers Healey’s have promised that this year’s festival is going to be bigger and better than ever.
From local acts to international headliners, the music lineup is a winning combination, with appearances from Scouting for Girls, Kernow King, Electric Swing Circus and Westcountry favourite, The Wurzels. But Little Orchard is far more than just a music festival. Throughout the 3 days there will be activities and a whole world of fun for the entire family.
Throughout the 3 main tents there will be an array of entertainment from the legendary Comedy Acts of MJ Walker to circus workshops and pumping silent discos. There will be an inter-pub tug of war contest, battle of the sea shanties, hoe downs and barn dances, steaming hot tubs, craft traders and a whole array of delicious food.
But we mustn’t forget the festivals other specialty – its cider! There will be a wonderful selection of ciders from all over the UK and further afield, served all day. Expect interesting flavours such as rhubarb and custard.
Located within the beautiful grounds of Healey’s 150-year-old working Cider farm in the rolling Cornish hills, where the famous Scrumpy Rattler and Cider whiskies are created, Little Orchard is set in a unique spot. Festival goers will be greeted by tractor and trailer and chauffeured through the farm to the festival area. And there’s an added bonus of the fact that children under the age of 14 go free!
The festival runs from 8-10 September. There are weekend tickets and day tickets available. For more information, please visit:
