Easter at The Railway, Bodmin Railway, 29th of March – 15th of April
Head to Bodmin Railway this Easter for some family-fun activities. Travel by steam train and follow the trail by rail, with an egg for all children who complete the hunt. Use the activity sheet map and follow the clues to complete the trail – there’s plenty to spot along the way!
Jack and the Beanstalk: The Giant Easter Open-Air Family Panto, Connaught Gardens in Sidmouth, 12th – 14th of April
There’ll be magic beans this Easter at Sidmouth’s Connaught Gardens. Jack, Dame Tilly Trott and Pat the cow will adventure up the beanstalk to defeat the evil Giant. But will Jack win Jill’s heart and the riches he so badly needs? Will the giant finally sort out his flatulence issue? Brought to you by City of Light Theatre, Jack and the Beanstalk has all the ingredients of a perfect family pantomime.
Falmouth Spring Festival, Falmouth, 22nd March – 2nd of April
As profiled on the BBC’s Great British Garden Revival programme, this wonderful early season festival brings together the Falmouth community like no other. The festival brings an explosion of colour, life and activity to the town. Get involved in games, arts and crafts and more!

Explosive Easter, Flambards, 31st of March – 8th of April
Younger visitors can enjoy experiments, explosions and a chocolate egg trail as part of an action-packed Easter at Flambards Theme Park. The Helston attraction is fully open throughout the holidays and will be running an all-new ‘Explosive Easter’ event. A team of madcap scientists staging a series of explosive fun experiments in their indoor laboratory. Youngsters can even have a go at making gunge with the scientists.
Eggtastic Easter Family Fun, Torquay Museum, 30th of March – 2nd of April
If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary to do with the kids this Easter then why not join some crazy Easter-obsessed scientists at Torquay Museum, who will amaze you with some fun and wacky egg-related experiments. Then get creative with Squircle Arts during their Art Pop days!
