A leading national mailing & communications provider based in Cornwall is celebrating its first year in business under a new brand.
Imprimus based in Redruth and have worked with some of the country’s largest institutions on their outbound mailing and communication for more than 30 years. They launched their new brand in September of last year, with an extension in their focus towards supporting local businesses, as well as retaining their national expertise and clients.
Managing Director Tony Plummer explained; “We’ve built up a wealth of knowledge and experience within our industry over the years. What we wanted to do was bring all of that capability together within a new brand which encapsulated where we’re wanting to go as a business.
We want to continue to be leaders in what we do, but also work flexibly with local businesses and enterprises of all sizes to cut their mailing costs and the time they have to devote to printing, mailing and data processing.”
The first year has seen the firm enjoy considerable growth in work from small to medium sized businesses. They have also invested a total of £1.5 million back into the business, to allow for a new IT infrastructure and software for better stability and performance, and the development of new services such as ‘Hybrid Mail’.
‘Hybrid Mail’ is a new mailing platform which offers a quick and cost effective solution to businesses when it comes to printing and mailing their customers, allowing them to quickly outsource the whole process with the click of a button, potentially saving up to 60% on their current mailing costs.
Tony added, “The majority of businesses still mail to their customers; whether that’s through invoices, marketing campaigns or customer updates. We saw that businesses across Devon and Cornwall could benefit from a system that would take the burden of printing, mailing and franking away from them, and leave it with us.”
The future continues to look bright for the company, with further investment in new services and infrastructure anticipated within the next year. They look forward to continuing their ongoing work with local apprenticeship programs and hope to continue supporting local business and community projects.
