After repairing his own boards for many years, Paul Glaeser realised that not enough was being done to support those who had damaged their paddle boards, in fact, they were being pushed closer and closer to landfill. So in 2021, Paul took the decision to turn his passion in to a business by launching SUP Services; offering a wide range of premium services to ensure that you can stay out on the water happily, but more importantly… safely and sustainably.
When it comes to servicing your paddleboard, SUP Services take pride in their understanding of board construction. They’re also passionate about using carefully selected materials and industry leading products to ensure that their repairs go the distance. The team will repair board seams using tried and tested methods to ensure near invisible repair. They’ll also fix any punctures on your board, dispelling the myth that a paddle board is destined for the bin after any damage at all! The team also do all they can to find the closest colour match for your board during this process, again ensuring little evidence of repairs.
They also offer fin box servicing, pledging to replace, repair, or even upgrade your fin box with almost perfect accuracy. And if you can’t help but feel that your board is losing air through its valve, SUP Services will take a look for you, and offer to service or replace it. Or if you’d like to fit a kayak seat or carry some extra bags whilst you paddle, the team at SUP Services will fit a D-Ring to your board with a range of mounting points available to suit your individual needs.
And it’s not all about fixing and servicing damaged boards… sometimes your board simply needs a dose of TLC! The good news is that SUP Services understand that a clean paddle board is the best way to avoid future problems and extend your board’s lifetime! Partnered with leading cleaning provider ‘August Race’, SUP Services guarantee a new lease of life for your shiny board which is better protected against what’s to come. UV Protection is also key in avoiding a build of grime, bacteria, and salt… all the things that cause problems if ignored! SUP Services will add a UV Protector that lasts 6 months, ensuring that your board won’t fade in the summer months.
