World Pasty Championships @ The Eden Project – 4th March

Beer and Mussel Festival @ The Cornish Arms, St Merryn – 17th-19th March

Oyster Gathering and Seafood Harvest @ Flushing Quay near Falmouth – 24th-27th March
Every year the fisherman and oysterman of Falmouth and surrounding area gather for the final full days of the oyster season. There’s fresh food and a seafood market, so go along to show your support while helping raise awareness of the importance of local fisheries.

A Judgement in Stone @ Hall for Cornwall, Truro – 6th-11th March
Known for his highly acclaimed Agatha Christie work, Bill Kenwright is back with a new killer production from The Classic Thriller Theatre Company. Based on Ruth Rendell’s tale of murder, deceit and despair, and featuring stars Andrew Lancel, Anhony Costa, Sophie Ward and more, A Judgement in Stone is set to leave you on the edge of your seats.

The Little Mermaid @ St Austell Arts Theatre – 8th-11th March
Hans Christian Andersen’s classic ‘The Little Mermaid’ comes to life at St Austell Arts Theatre this March. Adapted by Pam Gems and performed by the St Austell Players, you’re guaranteed a magical mermaid evening.

Theatre Alibi: Fish Eye @ The Poly, Falmouth – 9th March

The Rolling Clones @ Princess Pavilion, Falmouth – 4th March
They’ve been entertaining crowds across the world for 20 years and now they’re coming to Cornwall. The Rolling Clones tribute band will be performing their rock ‘n’ roll show featuring greatest hits with their own twist, whilst staying true to the spirit of the Rolling Stones’ originals.

Bach’s St Matthew Passion Concert @ Truro Cathedral – 11th March
A musical masterpiece will resonate around Truro Cathedral when Truro Symphony Orchestra and friends perform the Bach’s classical, St Matthew Passion. Featuring Cornwall Youth Chamber Choir, Richard Lander School Choir and Truro School Chamber Choir.

Eton Messy – 18th March @ The Watering Hole, Perranporth

Seasonal
St Piran’s Day celebrations, Truro – 5th March
Cornwall will come alive with celebrations on 5th March to celebrate the county’s Patron Saint, Piran. Many towns hold parades and processions, including Truro. The parade begins at 11am from St George’s Road and The City of Truro Male Voice Choir will lead the Cornish song of Trelawny. Pop into a Cornish pub and you’ll be sure to hear the Trelawny Shout.

Lizard Art Spring Fair @ the Stableyard Gallery, Helston 5th-26th March
Beautiful art created by artists from the Lizard and across Cornwall will go on display at the Spring Art Fair this month. Hosted by the Lizard Art Co-operative, at the Stableyard Gallery in Mawgan, the Spring Art Fair will showcase the best of Cornish art, featuring a wide spectrum of styles inspired by Cornwall’s wild and rugged landscape.

Tattoo: British Tattoo Art revealed @ the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth – 17th March-7th January
The largest gathering of real objects and original tattoo artwork in the UK is to go on display at Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum this March.
