Rehearsal for Murder @ Princess Theatre Torquay – 12th – 17th September

An Intimate Evening with Jo Harman @ The Plough Arts Centre – 17th September

Moon Hooch @ Exeter Phoenix – 22nd September
For those after cutting edge new music, then look no further than Moon Hooch. This trio have created a blend of virtuosic jazz, groovy fun, and pulse-pound electronic dance music.
Seth Lakeman @ The Factory, Barnstaple – 23rd September
Anyone from Devon or Cornwall knows who Seth Lakeman is, and this is your chance to see the award-winning folk singer live. The event comes just before the release of his new album, “Ballads of the Broken Few”.
Pirate Day @ Seaton Tramway – 2nd September
All aboard the Seaton Pearl! Little ones will love this exciting voyage which follows the Axe Estuary to Colyton Station. There are hourly departures from both stations throughout the day.
Tots Go Wild @ Occombe Farm – 8th September
This special event is exclusively for little ones up to the age of 5, allowing them to explore the farm. They’ll go hunting for bugs, learn about farm animals, and more!
Family Forest School @ Killerton House

Barnstaple Carnival – 17th September
For the 70th consecutive year join the largest West Country carnival as an impressive procession travels through the town. There will also be the annual crowning of the Carnival Queen, as well as plenty of stalls.
Agatha Christie’s Birthday Celebrations @ Torquay – 15th September
The Queen of Crime was born on 15th September 1890 in Torquay, and this year a special event is being hosted to celebrate 100 years since she wrote her first published novel. Enjoy a cream tea and interesting talks at this celebratory event.
Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival – 15th-18th September
For the 8th annual literary gathering, organisers have brought together a stellar line-up of 25 writers and thinkers. These include A.C. Grayling, Artemis Cooper, and many other fascinating speakers.
