Last month saw a beautiful array of cosmic displays across the skies above North Devon and Torridge.
The Perseid meteor shower lit up the skies, with as many as 100 meteors an hour over the space of a weekend. The meteors, commonly known as shooting stars, were entering the Earth’s atmosphere at speeds of up to 130,000mph and were captured by North Devon photographers. It was one of the largest meteor showers of the year.
