Mrs Browns are a small cake business based in Plymouth owned by Georgie Rowe. Mrs Browns opened late 2013. She poured all of her passion & love into the business and almost two years later, her small family run business is thriving.

Naughty But Nice Patisserie, Torquay
Philippe started his career over 30 years ago learning his trade in Paris. He came to England in 1999 to work for Maison Blanc moving on to cater for events such as Wimbledon, Chelsea Football Club and Twickenham Ruby, to name a few.
In 2013 he decided to take his skills and open a patisserie using his own individual French style. Having built up his reputation as a leading patissiere in Torquay he is now creating his own line of French style bread.

Jacka Bakery, Plymouth
Jacka Bakery is the oldest working commercial bakery in the UK. It is family run, specialising in sourdough, speciality coffee and great fresh food. Customers have said “love my Friday morning breakfast meeting with my friend. Always a delicious breakfast, I usually have a pastry of some kind with a cup of tea. Nothing could be better!”

Shauls Bakery, Exeter
Shauls Bakery was started by baker Terrance Charlton who opened his first shop in South Lawn Terrace, Exeter, in 1961. That bakery has since moved and is now a block of flats (fittingly named Shaul House) but since that original bakery, the business has grown to operate 14 shops and employ 160 staff throughout south and east Devon and Somerset, making the popular bakery a regular stop for shoppers from Torquay to Bridgwater.
Even though times have changed since those first days in South Lawn Terrace, the bakery still proudly produces pasties to the original recipe from 1961, which are freshly baked in-store each day!
