Here at MiHi Digital, we’re fortunate enough to be situated in between two of the country’s most picturesque counties, Devon and Cornwall.
We simply need to go East for the moors and West for the beaches, but with the two counties covering a combined area of more than 10,000sq metres, you could be left wondering which way to turn next.
Here’s just a handful of our favourite Cornish strolls…
Bude to Widemouth Bay
Heading to the North Cornish coast? There are hundreds of walks to be had along the South West Coast Path, including a fantastic one from Bude to Widemouth Bay.
You can start the walk at Bude or Widemouth and venture as far as the Weir at Helebridge or cut back through the wildlife reserve at Upton.
The walk will take you past Compass Point, down to Widemouth beach and back along Bude Canal path. You might even spot some piggies and ponies on the way!

There are a number of routes you can take, long or short, which will lead you along the River Tamar through woodland via Cotehele House, gardens and quay. Suitable for a range of abilities, this is a great spot for the whole family.

Meander through redundant mines
Fan of Poldark? If the answer is yes, this walk will be right up your street, if not; you’ll still be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful coastal views.
This route is another glorious stretch of the South West Coast Path, and it begins in the former mining village of St Agnes.
The 6.3-mile route takes you to St Agnes Beacon, before venturing down to the little cove of Chapel Porth and then back along the coast path to St Agnes Head and Trevaunance Cove.
The route has relatively good paths, no steep climbs, and is also dog friendly! What more could you want?

Tintagel Church to Trebarwith Strand trail
If you’re paying a visit to King Arthur’s Castle in Tintagel, we recommend working up an appetite with a stroll before heading to Trebarwith Strand for lunch.
This easy-moderate 3-mile scenic stroll starts at Tintagel’s Materiana Church and takes you along Glebe Cliff down to the Trebarwith Strand; a popular little cove tucked away from any major roads.
Return via the same route or take the the country tracks back into Treknow.

Find Daphne du Maurier in Fowey
Fowey is by far one of the prettiest harbour towns of South Cornwall. Located in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, you can be sure that whichever path you choose you won’t be disappointed.
The National Trust’s Gribbin Head walk is a particular favourite of ours. It allows us to take in stunning views, beaches and woodland. Perfect.
The moderate 4-mile walk takes around 1.5 hours to complete and meanders through the setting of many Daphne du Maurier’s books.
