Mullion Golf Club, Helston
Just a few miles from the most Southerly point on the British mainland, Mullion Golf Course epitomises the best of playing golf in Cornwall. The far reaching views from the Towans above the cliffs are magnificent. Although just over six thousand yards off the white tees, do not be deceived, the course is a challenge. With possibly the best greens in Cornwall which are in excellent playing condition all year round you can be assured of a testing putt!
St Enodoc, Wadebridge
St Enodoc has one of the finest links golf courses in the South West of England with everything you would expect from a James Braid design; undulating fairways, firm greens, some blind shots and all with the added bonus of some of the greatest sea and estuary views on any course in the World. No two holes are the same; it may not be long by today’s standards but it is tight and so requires courage and accuracy to cope with some of the problems posed. In 2014 it hosted the English Women’s Amateur Championship to rave reviews from both the players and the officials of England Golf. Definitely worth a shot!
