Driftwood are all about good service; good food and informality. They are a privately-owned, simply styled, comfortable and relaxed coastal boutique hotel in Cornwall. They overlook stunning Gerrans Bay, and their surrounding seven acres meander down a pretty woodland path to our their beach and cove. They welcome couples, and having proudly retained a Michelin Star in their restaurant, Chef, Chris Eden and his team continue to source only the very best local ingredients and produce. Hotel Tresanton, St Mawes
Tresanton is a cluster of houses on the edge of St Mawes, one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall. All rooms have views across the sea towards St Anthony’s lighthouse. Dinner is served in their candlelit restaurant or out on the terrace. Their menu changes often in order to offer the freshest, locally caught seafood.There is no muzak whatsoever at Tresanton only the sound of the waves and the occasional Sea Shanty.
The Idle Rocks, St Mawes
The Idle Rocks is situated idyllically on the Harbourside of St Mawes. Perched perfectly on the rocks, it’s the home from home, it’s a place to re-engage with the simpler pleasures in life. Their restaurant and South facing Terrace offer an ideal location to appreciate the view across the water, whilst enjoying fabulous food, centred on fresh Cornish ingredients. Much use is made of the abundance of fresh local fish and other produce, such as Monkfish, Plaice, Hake, Scallops, Mussels and many more in their menus, which vary to also include Cornish meat and vegetarian dishes. Everything is made and prepared fresh on the premises, including the breads, pastas and desserts, using the finest ingredients, local wherever possible. Do try their local cheese plate.
There is an early dining offer of 3 courses for £23 on a prix fixe menu running Monday to Thursday all evening during the quieter months.
Nathan Outlaw, Port Issac
Restaurant Nathan Outlaw is situated at the top of Port Isaac overlooking the rugged Cornish coastline. Exclusively serving a seafood tasting menu they aim to highlight the finest sustainable seafood caught off the Cornish coast by small day boats. It’s Nathan’s simple and honest approach to seafood cookery coupled with the respect given to every tail and scale that enters their kitchen that provides a truly memorable dining experience. Their first floor dining room is small and intimate, accommodating parties of up to 6 guests.
Trewithen Restaurant is one of the most renowned restaurants in Cornwall. Its reputation is founded on two key ingredients – great food and first class friendly service. Trewithen is open throughout the year, serving a varied seasonal menu to both a loyal customer base and visitors to the area. The restaurant has a walled garden for sheltered al fresco dining in the summer months. Cellar Bistro, St Ives

Owners Tony and Louise have filled the restaurant with an eclectic collection of beautiful upcycled furniture and vintage finds, giving The Cellar Bistro a completely unique decor.
