Cornwall is well-renowned for its surfing beaches and all things water sport related. Since Cornwall has such a wide variety of outdoor pursuits on offer, we asked our social media following to give us their favourite Cornwall-based outdoor pursuit providers, and they didn’t disappoint. Kernow Adventure Park, Penryn
Kernow Adventure Park is a place for thrill-seekers young and old, no matter what experience you have. They offer a wide range of water sports, as well as an assault course much akin to Total Wipeout or Ninja Warrior!

Elemental UK run two separate adventure centres in Cornwall, which offer a variety of outdoor pursuits, such as archery, bouldering and coasteering. If you want to try something new, here’s the place to start.
SUP in a Bag, St Agnes
Carrying on the theme of relaxed outdoor pursuits; SUP in a bag provide stand-up paddleboarding lessons for people of all ages. They also do SUP surfaris, which is another great opportunity to explore more of the beautiful Cornish coast.
As the name suggests, WeSUP are a stand-up paddleboarding organisation where you can book instructed lessons, hire a paddleboard yourself or go on a SUP tour. SUP is such a good way to relax release stress after a busy week, so get yourself booked on for a lesson this weekend!
Newquay Activity Centre, Newquay
Open seven days a week all year round, Newquay Activity Centre offer all things water-related; surfing, SUP, jet skiing and more. Located just six minutes from Lusty Glaze beach, this centre is one of the biggest and best in Cornwall.
Gylly Adventures, Falmouth
Gylly Adventures are a Falmouth-based activity centre which offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits to take part in, from surfing to axe throwing (yep, you read that correctly!). Their morning SUP Yoga is a great way to start off your day, why not give it a try?
Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre, St Austell
Porthpean Outdoor Education Centre offers one-off instructed lesson in outdoor pursuits, as well as summer camps during the holidays. Why not grab some friends and sign up to a summer camp, or maybe head down there on a weekend a try out the high ropes course?
