Take Thyme Fish Restaurant, Ilfracombe
Take Thyme Fish Restaurant is located within 50 yards of Ilfracombe harbour. Take Thyme specialises in locally caught fish, seafood, and Exmoor reared steaks. Wherever possible fresh local produce is used and the emphasis is on letting the simple, clean flavours of the West Country shine through onto the plate.
Fatbelly Fred’s, Barnstaple
The name Fatbelly Fred’s comes from the owners eldest son Fred who, when he was a baby, had a little fat belly after eating. They’re open lunchtimes Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays for lite bites and refreshments along side their full main menu for anyone looking to relax and recharge their batteries.
Number 7 Fish Bistro, Torquay
Number 7 are a small family run Bistro style restaurant providing fresh fish and shellfish either from local boats and markets or Scotland. They are 5 minutes from the town centre and there is ample parking opposite.
