They are open 7 days a week throughout the year. There is ample parking and their coffee shop serves snacks, cakes, teas and ices. Tamar View Nurseries, Carkeel

They are an independent garden centre based in the pretty village of Carnon Downs just south of Truro on the A39 Falmouth road. They are a family run business and have a second garden centre called Blackdown Garden Centre in West Buckland. As GCA & HTA members, Carnon Downs garden centre assures excellent levels of service, plants of quality and associated products, together with innovative life-style displays, professional advice and information.
Trelawney Garden Centre, Sladesbridge
Trelawney Garden Centre, was founded in 1970 by Frank and Marion Danning as a small nursery supplying home grown fruit, vegetables and flowers from a roadside stall to local customers as they passed by. The business which became renowned for its quality, variety of products and friendly family atmosphere is now recognised as one of the top garden centres in the country. Trelawney is a wonderful day out for all and when your shopping is complete, their restaurant, Carriages, which overlooks a beautiful large lake teaming with fish, otters and moorhens, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Trevena Cross isn’t your typical garden centre. They love their plants with passion and expertise. The dedicated nursery team grow over 90% the plants we sell on-site in our huge, 32-acre nursery making them unusual and exceptional compared to the majority of other nurseries. They carefully select the best stock to bring-on and as their plants are home-grown they’re able to ensure a continuous supply of high quality, nurtured plants for you choose from. They have a broad range of plants suitable for every space; from city window boxes and patio pots to country landscapes and exposed coastal locations.

Bodmin Nursery is the sort of place you thought no longer existed. It is not a garden centre, but a ‘proper’ nursery, with traditional growing, fresh & healthy plants, a range that delights, as well as friendly advice on hand. The Nursery offers a wide range of shrubs, grasses, climbers, alpines, marginal & water plants, fruit & ornamental trees, vegetable plants, bedding & hanging baskets. Falmouth Garden Centre buy as much as they possibly can from Cornwall but they do have to go out of the county now and then! Their bedding supplier is from St.Austell, shrubs are from around Cornwall and they even grow their own. Being an independent family business is important to them and they pride themselves on great customer service. They offer quality products at competitive prices and are happy to offer friendly and knowledgeable advice.
They offer a local delivery service 3 days a week which is free if you spend over £20 (a charge is made if you spend under £20).
