This free foodie festival is a great way to discover some of the best producers in the county. Set in a gorgeous location, this event attracts around 20,000 visitors each year.
South Molton Apple Fair – 30th October
For all things apple you need to head to this fair! From juices and cider, to tastings and activities for children. You can even bring your apples along and have them pressed!
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz @ The Landmark Theatre – 1st October
If you’ve ever seen a performance by Le Navet Bete before, then you’ll know what we mean when we say they are hilarious. This comedic adaptation will have all ages laughing.
Exeter Poetry Festival @ various locations – 3rd-9th October
Explore and discover the best poets that the West country has to offer. The week-long event is a great for both those who are knew to poetry, and those who are life-long fans.
Broken Biscuits @ The Drum – 25th-29th October
This fun and innovative play follows Megan, Holly and Ben who have embarked on a summer break that will change their lives. Through the power of song, they set foot on the path to coolness.
Feeder @ The Lemon Grove – 20th October
British rock heroes are visiting Devon’s capital city as part of their 14 date UK and Ireland tour. Following a 4 year hiatus, the band returns with their new album and classic hits.
Two Moors Festival – 22nd-29th October
Known as one of the leading classical music festivals in the UK, this event brings together world-class performances and learning programmes to create a unique festival.
Bastille @ Plymouth Pavilions – 29th October
Since hitting the mainstream music scene in 2013 with their album ‘Bad Blood’, Bastille have become an indie pop sensation. They’ll be visiting Plymouth as part of their ‘Wild World’ tour.
Exmouth Carnival Fun Day – 8th October
With over 60 stalls to browse, birds of prey, and a full entertainment programme, the whole family will have great fun at Exmouth Carnival Fun day!
Autumn Family Craft Fair @ The Donkey Sanctuary – 9th October
Whether you want to treat yourself or get started on your Christmas shopping, there’s plenty of wonderful crafts and gifts for you to discover.
Autumn Half Term Week @ Pecorama – 22nd-29th October
